Aiya frisco tx7/25/2023 ![]() It is billed as fusion, but what we had was more along the standard Asian menu items. Part of that is that they don't have a kids menu with smaller portions. Appreciate that they kept checking, and hopefully they will get the kinks worked out in their system (I'll cut them some slack since it is a new restaurant) I will say it was a little more expensive than i'm used to for asian food, especially for lunch. After the third time running back to get additional items we finally got all of our food. Since the server doesn't bring the food, our server kept coming by asking us if we had gotten all of our food. The spring rolls and pot stickers were pretty standard. The empress shrimp were huge, but the batter was a bit thick for my taste. There is no kids menu, so we were stuck in having to order a full sized meal for our kids. My family and I visited this new restaurant after watching the site undergo renovations over the past year. Our ingredients come to us in their rawest state and we process and create everything by hand, which is thus expressed in our pricing. Everything from the batter to the sauce is created in house. We apologize if the price was a turnoff we strive to source the best ingredients possible for our dishes. If requested, we offer our guests extra rice with their meal as well. To ensure our guests receive adequate portions, we allow our guests to choose between a Cantonese Spring Roll or a Spiced Chicken Wing and offer a complimentary soup as well. Since the pricing is lower during lunch, the portions are smaller than our typical dinner portions. We apologize that the lunch portion was too small for you. We offer our guests the ability to substitute the soup for a more traditional offering of either Hot and Sour or Egg Drop Soup if they don't enjoy the complimentary soup that we serve during lunch.
